New Releases:

A FATHER'S NAME, SuperRomance, 9/11

September's release of A Father's Name, is special book for Erie author, Holly Jacobs. It's the last book in her Whedon, PA series (Unexpected Gifts, A One-of-a-Kind Family and Homecoming Day). "Even though the book is set in the fictional town of Whedon, my characters come into Erie to visit, so I still get to showcase my hometown. The Whedon books have taken Erie to Australia, Russia and France so far, and through my other backlist books, Erie's visited more than twenty-five countries. I love the idea of someone in Russia opening up a book and reading about Erie, Pennsylvania," says Jacobs. "This final book not only gives reoccuring character, Angelina Tucker, her very own happily-ever-after, it also gives readers one last glimpse of the characters from the three previous books. I love trilogies and series," Jacobs admits. "Writing the words the end is my least favorite part of the creative process. I hate saying goodbye to characters. But when I write a series of books, I know I'll get to revisit older characters, and it makes ending a story easier."

Speaking of series, Jacobs has two books left in her Erie-set Everything But... series. Everything but a Mother is due to be released in February 2012, and Everything but a Dog in October of '12. She's also starting a new trilogy, tentatively set to be released in May, June and July of 2013. It's set in Lake Erie Wine Country. The fictional town of Valley Ridge, which is located between North East, PA and Ripley, NY...again allowing Jacobs to showcase the region in her fiction. She's currently starting the research for the trilogy...you read about her journey at Lake Erie Wine.

A Love to Be Proud Of

Tucker–as Angelina Tucker is known to her friends–is in the midst of big change. The pressures of juggling single parenthood and the family business keep her busy 24/7. And now something else is throwing her life into flux–Tyler Martinez.

Oh, right. That Tyler. The successful–and sexy–business guy who asked her out. The same guy she turned down.

But Tyler needs a job. And he also needs her help with the toddler he’s guardian to. So what are she and Tyler exactly? Helpmates? Friends with benefits? She needs some definition because she’s already in love with his little boy–and heaven help her–she’s falling for Tyler, too...

SUDDENLY A PARENT...life will never be the same.
