PRESS RELEASE

August starts the Rush

This August, Holly Jacobs has two releases--Same Time Next Summer, a Harlequin SuperRomance and Everything But a Bride, the second book in her popular Everything But trilogy. (The first book in the series, Everything But a Groom went into its second printing within a month of its release.)

"I was sad to hear that Harlequin's Everlasting Love line was dead, but that sadness was quickly faded away when I discovered they were folding those books into the SuperRomance line. I've long been a fan of both the line and so many of its authors. And I got even happier when I sold them more straight up SuperRomances (Crib Notes and A Special Kind of Different) that will be released in '09."

Her second Everything But... book is once again set in her hometown, Erie, PA. "I love Erie and am always thrilled to be able to use it for a setting. It's also the new trilogy starting in October. Talking about the lake, the city...it's a delight. And knowing that my books have taken Erie to more than twenty countries always gives me glee."

It's going to be a busy second half of the year. Jacobs has the first book in a new American Dad trilogy for Harlequin American Romance, Once Upon a Thanksgiving, out in October, the last book in her Everything But... trilogy, Everything But a Wedding, out in December, the second book in her American Dad trilogy, Once Upon a Christmas also out in December. And three book already scheduled for '09.

It's also been a year for traveling. Holly was in New York City in March for a conference, then to Pittsburgh in April for Romantic Tmes annual convention where her '08 book, The House on Briar Hill Road won its Reviewers' Choice Award. In June she'll be in Toronto to research a series of articles she's recently sold, then to San Francisco to Romance Writers of American's conferece.

Read reviews at EVERYTHING BUT A GROOM.
