September's release, A Father's Name, is special on a number of fronts. It's the last book in the Whedon, PA series, and for those who've followed the other books (Unexpected Gifts, A One-of-a-Kind Family and Homecoming Day) you've all met Tucker...this is her romance. To be honest, if ever someone deserved a very special happy-ever-after, it's Tucker. She was a teen mom who overcame obstacles and not only built a fantastic career, but raised a fantastic son.

I'm going to miss the Whedon gang, but I'm starting a new series for SuperRomance. It's set in Lake Erie Wine Country. What? You didn't know Lake Erie had a wine region? I'm currently starting the research for it...you can follow my journey at Lake Erie Wine .

I love that Harlequin is making new releases available in eFormat. Check out your favorite eDistributor and if you use a Kindle (which I'm getting for Christmas...from me to me!!) you can find the eight books available there at Amazon.

2011 has been a fantastic year for international releases...seventeen and counting! There's a list on my bookshelf if you're interested!

One of the first books I sold was This Old Heart. I still remember the days Hilary Sares called to tell me Kensington's Precious Gems was buying it. I was so excited! Now, Precious Gems were only sold at WalMarts, and when it was gone, it was gone. I've heard from a lot of you that you've looked for it and can't find it. So, when I was offered the opportunity to sell it as an eBook A Writers Work, I jumped at it.

I debated updating the story (I mention a quarter for a phone call!), but opted to let it stand on its own. I rarely reread my work, and as I did, I kept thinking, If I were writing this now... But I opted to leave the writing stand on its own, too. If nothing else, it shows how far my writing has come in the last decade.

Other news:

I've started to book my travel for 2012. Please contact me if your group or organization is interested in a speaker. To date, I've presented more than fifty workshops and talks from coast to coast.
